Farrakhan followers, press have minor 'stand-off' in Obama's neighborhood

An interesting “stand-off’’ of sorts developed outside a barbecue President Obama was attending at a friend’s house Saturday night between followers of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan on one side and members of the press and the U.S. Secret Service guarding the president on the other. Many of my readers will recall how I stated during the election that Obama's largest boasters originated from the Black Muslim community. I still recall how they would stand at the voting booths and harass the Republican voters as they went in. Many being turned away. But life went on as usual and he got elected.

Obama turns his back on the press

At a ceremony to sign a bill promoting press freedom around the world on Monday, President Obama refused to take questions from reporters. “I’m not doing a press conference today,” he told Chip Reid of CBS News, “but we’ll be seeing you guys during the course of the week.” Let's be real here - the press put this fool in office and the press can take him out. He's venturing into dangerous territory.
