Djou wins U.S. House seat - Hawaii News - Starbulletin.com
We are taking our country back folks. One election at a time. The GOP trumpets a victory on Obama's home turf, while Dems promise to regroup. The celebration at Hawaii Republican Party headquarters was barely 15 minutes old as Charles Djou, the GOP's newest darling, had already moved past the historic victory and turned his sights toward the general election in November.Wednesday, May 19, 2010
Obama turns his back on the press
At a ceremony to sign a bill promoting press freedom around the world on Monday, President Obama refused to take questions from reporters. “I’m not doing a press conference today,” he told Chip Reid of CBS News, “but we’ll be seeing you guys during the course of the week.” Let's be real here - the press put this fool in office and the press can take him out. He's venturing into dangerous territory.http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/05/19/obama-turns-his-back-on-the-press/

White House video blog offers an inside view
You didn't see this on CNN or Fox News or NBC: President Obama awkwardly introducing Chile's president, Sebastián Piñera, to the Netherlands' prime minister, Jan Peter Balkenende, at the recent nuclear security summit. "You know, uh, you've met Jan?" the president says tentatively as the other world leaders stand aside like shy kids at a dance. These are scenes rom the new White House TV feed. When will this man get with the program and stop trying to circumvent the system?http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/05/14/AR2010051401316.html?hpid=topnews
U.S. Said to Allow Drilling Without Needed Permits
The federal Minerals Management Service gave permission to BP and dozens of other oil companies to drill in the Gulf of Mexico without first getting required permits from another agency that assesses threats to endangered species — and despite strong warnings from that agency about the impact the drilling was likely to have on the gulf.http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/14/us/14agency.html

The Federal Fat Police: Bill Would Require Government to Track Body Mass of American Children
A bill introduced this month in Congress would put the federal and state governments in the business of tracking how fat, or skinny, American children are. This was bound to happen. If the government is going to pay for your health care then they feel like they can rule your body as well.http://cnsnews.com/news/article/65781
